According to theory, everyone is connected by six degrees of separation. These two began as 2nd degree separation friends.
But after beach trips and various birthday gatherings, I'm proud to say these two are now first degree friends of mine.
The 2nd degree connector between us all is one of my best friends (hi Kate) and was one of the beautiful bridesmaids. And a fabulous one at that. Being such a fabulous bridesmaid, she wanted to give a loving speech about these two people - two of her best friends who she has known and loved for years. She came to me with the idea that I make a book she could 'read' as her speech. (This is Kate, she's full of good ideas as you can see).
It was a fun book to write because both Kate and I had to figure out ways to add in personal details that only Stacy and Jason would understand. But to make sure it was also relevant and entertaining as a speech, we made sure to add things that family and friends could connect with as well.
This is how it turned out.
